Our cow herd has grown from what started as an FFA project. Three heifer calves were purchased from Harold Tastad in December of 1980. Additional females were purchased from several sources over the next ten years. All cattle were sold by private treaty until 2008 when we had our first open house bull sale.
Nikki’s family has been raising Quarter Horses since 1969, focusing on moderately framed ranch horses that are trainable, athletic and pretty enough for the show pen. As AQHA Ranch Heritage Breeders it is important to us that our horses are used in all aspects of ranching, rodeo and in the show arena, assuring that while we hold true to their Foundation bloodlines, we are keeping up with modern uses and proving their talents.
